Bio
I’m a pharmaceutical writer and former meeting planner from the Philadelphia suburbs, where I share a townhome with my husband and our cats. Except for college, I’ve always lived and worked in this area, and I don’t think I’d ever want to live anywhere else (although during ice storms in February, I could be tempted!) I have a full-time job with a direct marketing firm, so I write at night and on the weekends… and frequently (thanks to my patient and self-reliant better half) on vacations.
Meeting Murder was born way back in 1995, when I first wondered what would happen if an executive were found dead backstage just before he was about to deliver a meeting’s first speech. I’d write a few chapters, then life would intervene and I’d put the manuscript away for a number of years. Finally, in 2006, I decided to get serious about the book, and I worked extremely hard to finish it. Or at least, I thought I’d finished it…
Little did I know that I’d write an additional 6,000 words after showing the manuscript to my best friend, then go back and revise it again after 1) my husband read it for the first time, 2) my proofreader made some very telling observations, and 3) my husband read it for the second time.
At long last, here it is. I’m hard at work on my second book (featuring the 2 main characters from Meeting Murder) and I have plans for a third and fourth as well…
I hope you “enjoy the read!”
